Hi all, Scott Mottice here. I am the Director of Campus Partnerships for AIA, which includes SportLinc. I just moved in to this position this year after spending 13 1/2 years with AIA at the University of Wisconsin. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio where I competed on the BG Water Ski Team. I also coached the Univ of Wisconsin Water Ski team the last 10 years.

Its been great hearing some how God is using each of you on your campuses. I pray this forum will be a resource that will be a place to share stories, ask questions, share ideas and encourage one another! Thanks for all you are doing to build spiritual movements in your athletic departments!

I am Kevin Black. I live in River Falls, WI. My wife (Liz) and I have taken on a new journey with another leader from Campus Crusade to start AIA on the campus of University of Wisconsin - River Falls. UW-RF is a NCAA Divsion III school with approximately 6,500 students. We had 32 athletes at our first outreach and have great ties with the football and basketball teams. I was very active in AIA in college at the University of Wisconsin (Scott Mottice was AIA campus staff and discipled me) as a wrestler.

I own/operate Victory School of Wrestling and have been coaching wrestling at various levels since I finished competing. Liz and I just had our first child, Isaiah, last September.

My name is Tim Pitcher and i've been on staff with AIA since 1994. My wife Wendy and I joined staff directly after graduating from the U of Tennessee. I've served in multiple roles within AIA and now have the unofficial title as "get it done man".

This is my first year of coaching sportlinc and work with Wabash Univ. which is an all male school in Indiana. I was able to arrange for Frank Reich to speak at the school a couple of weeks ago which drew a lot of interest on campus.

I'm Michelle Snow. I am from Colorado Springs, CO and am currently attending the University of Northern Colorado. I am a sophomore majoring in athletic training. I started my college career running cross-country and track, but after a serious injury and a discovery of a deformity in my foot, God has led me to athletic training, which doesn't let me run with the team. It has given me a great opportunity to know athletes and help them through their largest struggles, injuries.

My name is Christian Guth. I am volunteering with the student run AIA at UC Davis, my recent alma mater (B.S. Neurobiology). Raised in Kentucky and matured in California, my comfort is found in the water, be it water polo, swimming, or surfing. Through certain situations stemming from sports, God has led me to AIA and shown me a passion for working with athletes as they struggle against the stereotypes and expectations the world places on them.

God Bless!

Hey Guys!
I'm Erin Wellman. I am on staff with Athletes in Action as the Sports Complex Softball Director. I joined staff right out of college and now live in the wonderful city of Xenia, Ohio! At new staff training for Athletes in Action I met my future husband and we've been married almost 2 years. The week of our wedding he (Jared) packed up his belongings and moved from Syracuse, NY, I packed up my stuff and moved from Richmond, IN and we reported within the same week we got married. If it weren't for the community and support from our AIA family, I'm not sure I would have been able to make it through all of the major stresses within the first year of marriage, reporting, a new job, etc.
The Lord has been doing some amazing things with SportLinc around the world. This is my first year of being involved with it and I am excited to come along side my girl Anna from Concordia College! I believe that this part of the ministry is going to bring movements and lives will be changed forever! I can't to hear stories about things that are going on around the world. Keep us updated!
