Beck, my coleader at UNC was hit in September and ruptured his kidney. None of the surgeries were working to fix it so 5 weeks ago, the doctor told him he was done playing football. Two weeks ago the kidney was at 3-4% function. This week he found out that his kidney is functioning 100% and is smaller than it was when he was hit (a good thing). He can go back to play football if he wants to. Pray for him as he makes his decision whether or not he will play football again.
